The one behind me, is the love of my life - Brett :)

I'm just an ordinary girl living in extra odinary circumstances.

I am a photographer and makeup artist... and I love what I do! I live in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, South Africa and I live a very blessed, but awesome life. I am an avid scuba diver, with a love for sharks that goes beyond words can describe. I am the luckiest girl in the entire world to be blessed with the most amazing man that anyone could ever ask for, his name is Brett and I love him more than words can describe. I drive a black mini with the registration of FEE 286 - 286 being my birthday which is on the 28th of June 1990 :)

I am a complete romantic at heart, yet I struggle to show that side to just anyone and I hope that I can show that through my creative work as a photographer and makeup artist. I have worked with a massive list of photographers, makeup artists, designers, stylists and models who all rock and are incredibly awesome! You all know who you are :)

I have been through a lot in my life, but I have had a life I would not trade it for anyone or anything. I continue to learn from my mistakes and I hope to succeed in everything I do. This blog will showcase my thoughts, daily banter, shoot preparation, shoot results, makeup I have been fortunate enough to do for other photographers, my own personal work, my rants and raves about the industry, what's going on in my life and anything that really floats my boat.

I'm the proudest Aunty in the entire world to Mr. CJ, who is the coolest little man on this planet. His birthday is on the 28th of April 2010, and he has brought many more smiles into my world and my families world and will be the carrier of our family name as my brother was the last boy who could, and he did us proud with this little man.

My photoshoot present to my brother James and his beautiful wife, Linda for their new and gorgeous little son CJ who was only 3 weeks old at the time of shooting.

When I'm not behind the camera or makeup brushes I enjoy spending time with my man, smoking hub, playing xbox, scuba diving, travelling to my favourite place in South Africa - CAPE TOWN - where I'm lucky enough to have access to a gorgeous house at my disposal which my parents are eventually going to move into full time. Anyone that knows me, knows that I speak my mind. I try not to come across as cocky, although some of my opinions do.... Being British - my sense of humour can sometimes be completely lost on my South African friends, and some of theirs is lost on me, regardless of that, my friends are awesome even when we get lost with each other.

Just because you have read a few of my blogs over a computer screen doesn't mean you know me. Get to know me first, then judge...
